By the Water
I have fished at this body of water over a period of time, there have been many vistis. Enjoying how the boat is nestled in the contrast of its surroundings would bring me an inner peace. Seeing the colors of the boat make its connection with the water and the sky, pulls it all together for me to want to capture this moment in this painting.

I’ve always been attracted to the common yet sometimes complex images of man in his surroundings. As an artist, I’m attracted to the forms and textures of man and nature. I find myself in a place of solitude when I work to capture those images in my art (painting and sculpture). This is equivalent to air, food, and water for my soul.
