I have developed a style of realism notable for its accuracy, and distinguished by the abstract qualities of my compositions. The result of this effort is images that are dramatic and specific.

My drawings are both a depiction of commonplace objects and contemporary still life. They contain the traditional subjects of still life, but they present a vivid transcription of reality, transformed into a compelling environment. My art is more than the recognition of the existence of ordinary objects but is my attempt to fill its surroundings and transform the environment and the experience.

My latest work contributes to the act of looking at surfaces with clarity and directness of response to the subject. It is a contemplative view of the world made up of things that are generally taken for granted.
