Concerto

Torn papers from old paintings and scraps of discarded material are the basics used in this collage. Pasting, painting, scraping and pencil marks defines the manipulation of these random bits of possibilities. Much is destroyed and then reinvented while constructing, deconstructing, and reconstructing which also alters and allows for accidental and planned happenings. Unexpected mysteries keep my interest peeked as to what may develop. Patterns emerge and a wholeness out of chaos begins to take over until the process is complete.
