I enjoy equally “plein air” painting and “studio” painting. I paint to celebrate life. It’s the fulfillment of my day. I’m uplifted and that makes me happy. I’ve spent a lifetime observing nature and the way light and atmosphere affect the landscape and objects. I work to translate my love of nature to each viewer, transforming their perceptions. I want the viewer to see and feel the emotion that went into every stroke. They are as much a part of the composition and colors that I choose.
