Energy Vibrations

“Energy Vibrations” evolved from thinking about how our neurotransmitters interact and communicate within our bodies and how energy is transferred amongst living things. Each round cell-like shape is similar yet unique. We are “the same” and “not the same” like siblings. The colors of the pale celadon glaze are juxtaposed with the reddish pattern flashes to express the on/off, spontaneous bursts of chemicals and energy that occurs within us.  “Energy Vibrations” occur when we encounter one another.

Much of the inspiration for my work comes from my wonderment and observations of the natural world around us and inside of us. I am interested in the interconnections between our microscopic and macroscopic realms.
