Jamiya Hampton

Born in Zanesville, Ohio, Jamiya Hampton currently works as a ceramic artist in Columbus, Ohio. Jamiya began her journey as an artist at the age of nine. As a child she was always fascinated watching her older cousin Quincy draw and wanted ‘to become an artist just like him one day.’ This is true today as she works as a production assistant at Kiln Room, a ceramic studio in Columbus, while she furthers her ceramic practice and training. Jamiya knows that art making will be a life long passion for her.
