this is Not My Movie, 2012 from the series “Days of Noir”
The work included in the Hilton Downtown Art Collection, This Is Not My Movie, is from a larger body of work titled Days of Noir . In Days of Noir I am attempting to evoking a sense of urban life, that while bathed in bright sun light, there is an undertow of darkness. Days of Noir is composed of a mixture of street imagery and studio set ups. The series begins with an arrival and ends with departure, in between there is a non linerar arc of a story.
